Procurement specialist responsible for executing procurement actions in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations, supporting aerospace and defense projects for RTX, a leading company in the industry.
Location: US-AZ-REMOTE
Salary: $86,800–$165,200/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform procurement actions utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all FAR/DFARS regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, and RFI.
- Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity.
- Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms).
- Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques.
- Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance.
- Communicate clearly and be proactive in a very fast-paced environment.
- Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.
- Travel as required.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), ITAR OR import/export requirements.
- Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
