Quotations Coordinator - Industrial

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is hiring for a remote industrial quotations specialist focused on valves and industrial products. The role involves preparing quotations, working with customers and vendors, and supporting project execution.

Location: Remote

Salary: $15.00 - $27.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations with a focus on valves for Industrial projects according to local market strategy
• Lead all aspects of industrial quotations, from start to finish, so that it is completed by specified deadlines and within budget
• Work directly with customers and vendors to determine project scope, specifications, and requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with servicing branches, ensuring their satisfaction with our product offerings and services
• Interact and develop vendor relationships to support sales
• Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers as needed
• Identify, develop, and gather the resources to assist with completing awarded projects
• Provide a high level of assistance to project managers to ensure projects are carried out accordingly
• Self-motivated to learn and train continuously to stay up to date on products and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years experience with industrial quotations or inside sales highly preferred
• Previous estimations in the Industrial field
• Advanced knowledge of industrial products and vendors
• Experience with reading and interpreting valve specifications
• Thorough knowledge of valve testing methods and industry standards
• Prior success as a remote professional
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
• High aptitude for working independently and self-management
• Detail-orientated with a solid ability to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to effectively multi-task in a highly deadline driven environment
• Advanced proficiency with Office 365 required, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Additional Information

• Pay expected to start at $24.50 but could be more based on experience.
• This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
• The pay range is estimated between $15.00 - $27.50 per hour, with variations depending on location and experience.
