Remote 1099 Contractor Telehealth Nurse Practitioner

Med+ is a telehealth service offering access to certified clinicians and a specialized GLP-1 weight-loss program, providing support and community for weight health management.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Build a patient panel with continuity of care.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered clinical care using telehealth platform.
• Review and discuss patient intake information and medical history via video and chat consultations.
• Maintain ongoing clinician-patient relationships through regular evaluations and check-ins.
• Educate patients on obesity science, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited university.
• Board certified by ANCC or AANP (Family, Adult, or Adult Gerontology).
• At least 2-3 years of practice post-residency, including obesity medicine experience.
• 1+ years of telemedicine experience, understanding sync and async practice.
• Experience with menopause management preferred.
• Skilled in using online tools and technology for care delivery and communication.
• Availability of 10-15 hours/week, including at least 8 hours/week for synchronous visits, with 2-4 hours daily Mon-Fri.
• At least 2-3 active state licenses.
• Proficiency in Zoom, Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Operating system with at least 16GB memory, Mac OS 26.0+ or Windows 11.
