Remote Client Relationship Manager - CPA or EA

A remote role for a Client Relationship Manager / Senior Accountant at a CPA firm specializing in the dental industry, responsible for managing client relationships, providing advisory services, overseeing accounting and tax processes, and ensuring workflow management.

Location: Remote

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated book of clients, managing relationships via email, Zoom, and phone.
• Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements and provide strategic insights.
• Oversee G/L activity, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
• Facilitate the tax compliance process by preparing returns and providing financials to the tax department.
• Review transactional work and ensure all monthly accounting activities stay on schedule.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of accounting experience within a CPA firm.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA (preferred).
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with UltraTax (plus).
• Strong hands-on tax planning and preparation skills.
• Problem-solver who is client-facing and thrives in a remote environment.
• Prior experience working with dental or healthcare clients (preferred).
