Salary: $90–$120 per hour

Responsibilities

• Create difficult, domain-specific problems in string theory, quantum field theory, particle physics, nuclear physics, or related areas
• Develop problems requiring rigorous reasoning, mathematical formalism, and subject matter understanding
• Write clear reference solutions, reasoning paths, and structured explanations
• Review physics outputs for correctness, clarity, and reasoning quality
• Evaluate assumptions, derivations, mathematical steps, and physical interpretation
• Identify reasoning gaps, unsupported conclusions, and ambiguity
• Provide structured feedback to improve task quality
• Design challenging tasks grounded in advanced theoretical and mathematical concepts
• Translate complex expertise into clear, structured, evaluable task formats

Requirements

• PhD in Physics with specialization in string theory, quantum field theory, particle physics, nuclear physics, or related fields
• Graduate degree from a research university in US, UK, Canada, Western Europe, or equivalent
• Strong command of advanced theoretical physics, mathematical formalism, and scientific reasoning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• High attention to detail and strong analytical judgment
• Ability to follow complex instructions and produce rigorous technical outputs independently
