Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier

Location: White River, Ontario

Salary: $31,822.05 - $35,192.49 annually (including wages, allowances, and expenses)

Responsibilities

• Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and timely.
• Provide replacement or helper services for vacations, absences, or extra hours.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure, roads, customers, and delivery receptacles.
• Ensure mail is securely handled.
• Process CPC products and services such as Change of Address, Damaged Mail, and Items Delivered Bill.
• Wear Canada Post identification during delivery.
• Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg.
• Operate a motor vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.

Requirements

• Satisfactory safe driving record (driver's abstract required).
• Valid permanent provincial driver’s license - class 5 or G.
