The role involves developing and executing sales strategies to expand Veolia's market share and revenue in the Sub Sahara region, focusing on water and wastewater treatment solutions across various industries.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and revenue within the Sub Sahara region.
- Identify key growth sectors within the region to position Veolia Technologies & Products during the early selling cycle.
- Achieving and exceeding ongoing sales, growth and profitability targets by promoting and selling Veolia Technologies & Products through various channels, i.e., direct, indirect, EPC, and End Users.
- Developing strong professional relationships within key markets and supporting them in their sales activities and growing sales of Veolia T&P.
- Proactively developing a strong pipeline of active opportunities and securing business in the assigned region across the key growth sectors, i.e., Mining, F&B, Oil & Gas, general Industries.
- Negotiating and closing profitable deals with clients in line with Veolia processes and guidelines in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of technical experience in the water/waste treatment field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of sales experience and business development in the water & wastewater, Industrial, Mining, and Municipal market.
- Demonstrated experience in selling complex technology solutions in the water and wastewater treatment market.
- Demonstrated ability in promoting and selling Technologies & Products through distributors and re-sellers in the water and wastewater treatment market.
- Demonstrated ability to manage in matrix environment/organization and working as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales target and schedule commitments.
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels of customer organization.
- Strong communication and agility.
- Experience working with senior client representatives, government officials.
- Ability to travel to meet customers within Africa without restrictions.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English, French recommended.
- Enhanced computer skills, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
