SAP S/4HANA Project Manager

Lead a SAP S/4HANA transformation project for a public sector organization, managing end-to-end delivery from initiation to stabilization, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

Location: Canada

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation from planning to go‑live/stabilization.
• Define and control scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resources.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across time zones.
• Apply SAP Activate and best practices; run phase gates and quality checks.
• Oversee integration, data migration, testing, training, and cutover.
• Drive organizational change management.
• Monitor and control risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID).
• Manage budget, forecasts, and vendor statements of work.
• Ensure security, compliance, and standards.
• Deliver clear communications.

Requirements

• Proven leadership of at least one end‑to‑end SAP S/HANA implementation in a complex, multi‑vendor environment.
• Demonstrated use of SAP Activate across Explore → Realize → Deploy, including quality gates and readiness criteria.
• Strong governance of scope, schedule, budget, and benefits; expert in RAID management and change control.
• Experience overseeing integration, data migration, testing, training, and cutover at program level.
• Excellent stakeholder management across public sector/business/IT; crisp executive communications.
