Seasonal Admissions Readers - Graduate: Brooks School of Public Policy

Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy is seeking temporary, seasonal admissions readers for the 2026-2027 graduate admissions season. Readers will evaluate applications for graduate programs in Public Administration and Health Administration, reviewing transcripts, essays, recommendation letters, and other components.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $21.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications to graduate programs in Public Administration and Health Administration.
• Review college transcripts, application essays, recommendation letters, and other application components.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of applications, considering all materials.
• Partner with admissions staff for training and during the reading period.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in application review.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Well-developed computer skills and ability to adapt to new technology.
• Ability to manage time independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to apply institutional priorities and internalize feedback.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate multicultural awareness and respect for diverse backgrounds.
