Senior Accountant / Tax Accountant - CPA

Builds and expands a woman-led accounting firm's tax and client advisory services, combining technical expertise with client-focused advisory work.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $32+/hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Preparing individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations, developing proactive tax strategies with clients.
• Providing full-cycle accounting for a book of clients, overseeing bookkeepers, and providing financial oversight, advisory support, and guidance for small and mid-size businesses.

Requirements

• Active CPA license or EA
• 3–5 years of business tax preparation experience
• Strong working knowledge of current tax law and regulations
• Experience creating and presenting tax strategy plans with clients
• Comfortable in a client-facing, advisory capacity
• Remote within the U.S. | Must be authorized to work in the United States
