Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and highly available backend services using .NET and distributed architectures.
• Propose and implement strategic technological improvements to modernize applications and processes.
• Participate in architecture and technological evolution decisions for platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and Data teams to analyze requirements, anticipate technical impacts, and define efficient solutions.
• Ensure technical quality through best practices in development, testing, code reviews, and support team growth.
• Create reusable code and libraries, maintaining clear technical documentation for support and knowledge transfer.
• Estimate tasks realistically within agile methodologies, anticipating risks and communicating blockers timely.

Requirements

• +6 years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET or similar technologies, participating in architecture design, distributed systems, scalable APIs, and cloud environments.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and making architecture decisions.
• Proficiency in SQL Server; desirable experience with NoSQL (CosmosDB or similar).
• Fluent in Azure (Functions, App Services, Service Bus).
• Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of daily workflow.
• Knowledge in observability, performance, and CI/CD.
• Graduated in Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Intermediate technical English (reading documentation and technical communication).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and version control with Git/GitHub.
