Senior Backend Developer, Integrations

Location: Remote (Canada)

Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead technical integration sessions with customer development teams.
• Develop detailed technical specifications for integrations.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy custom integrations, connectors, or extensions.
• Facilitate technical integration and troubleshooting sessions with customers' engineering teams.
• Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for integrations.
• Build and maintain documentation, demos, and prototypes to showcase platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a technical, client-facing role such as Backend Developer, Integration Consultant, or Professional Services Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, TypeScript, C#).
• Strong working knowledge of databases (relational, non-relational, NoSQL).
• Strong experience in technical, customer-facing roles.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and specifications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity.
