Senior Consultant Krisenresilienz & BCM (m/w/d)

The role involves advising clients on crisis resilience, building crisis teams, conducting crisis simulations, and supporting Business Continuity Management and ITSCM.

Location: Remote (EU)

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on building and developing crisis resilience, including crisis organization, training crisis teams, and embedding practices into operations.
• Build structured crisis teams with clients, define roles and procedures, and ensure operational readiness for emergencies.
• Plan and moderate crisis exercises and simulations, from tabletop to full-scale drills.
• Contribute to designing crisis simulation formats, develop training materials, and elaborate on simulation procedures.
• Support clients in Business Continuity Management and ITSCM, from Business Impact Analysis to creating practical runbooks and playbooks, collaborating with technical teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments, identify implications for clients, and introduce new approaches into consulting practices.

Requirements

• Multiple years of practical experience in crisis management, crisis organization, BCM, or ITSCM, either in consulting or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of standards and frameworks such as ISO 22301, ISO 27031, BSI IT-Grundschutz.
• Proven experience in conducting Business Impact Analyses and developing runbooks and playbooks.
• Knowledge of regulated industries (financial services, critical infrastructure) or relevant certifications (CISM, BSI-Grundschutz Practitioner, BAIT/DORA context) is a plus.
