Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Own and scale ZayZoon’s AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
• Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using CloudFormation, build CI/CD pipelines and manage existing infrastructure stacks.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance.
• Improve monitoring and observability to ensure detection and proactive resolution of issues.
• Design secure (SOC-2 and cybersecurity compliance), scalable cloud services in AWS.
• Evaluate and remediate Critical and High CVEs across all services on short notice.
• Work cross-functionally across development, data, testing, and security teams to improve deployment processes.
• Apply DevOps best practices in all activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience in AWS or GCP.
• 3+ years of experience with Python or equivalent high level language (Go, Ruby, etc).
• Knowledge of Bash & SQL.
• Experience with CloudFormation or other IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef.
• Experience with CloudWatch, ECS on Fargate, CodePipeline, and native deployments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar.
• Ability to analyze CloudWatch, CloudTrail logs, and other logging tools.
• Experience migrating compute from Intel to ARM architecture.
