Senior Fullstack Engineer - Remote from Spain

Aircall is a rapidly scaling, AI-powered customer communications platform with a global presence, focused on redefining customer interactions through voice, SMS, WhatsApp, and AI integration. They are seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join their Communication Platform department, specifically the Number Management team, to develop and maintain business-critical features.

Location: Remote (Europe)

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for customers
• Design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules
• Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
• Review, update, refactor, and debug code
• Deliver high quality, secure voice solutions to Aircall clients
• Optimize product and platform performance and monitor live sites
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure system reliability
• Mentor team members

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in backend development with a typed language (Typescript/Node.js, Java, C#) focusing on scalability, availability, security, and performance
• At least 2+ years of experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React or Angular
• Experience with serverless architectures, microservices, or distributed systems
• Extensive experience with AWS in a production environment and understanding of AWS services and offerings
• Ability to explain AWS offerings and best practices to junior engineers
• Security-conscious approach in development
