Senior Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) Specialist (Remote)

The FCCS Specialist is responsible for supporting enterprise financial consolidation, reporting, and close processes using Oracle FCCS and Hyperion Financial Management, working across various financial platforms and collaborating with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders.

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for Oracle FCCS and/or Hyperion Financial Management, including metadata management, consolidation rules, workflows, and process monitoring.
• Develop and maintain integrations between FCCS/HFM and other planning applications, Oracle EPM Cloud services, ERP systems, data warehouses, and other enterprise platforms using FDM/FDMEE and/or Oracle ODI.
• Maintain and enhance FCCS/HFM metadata, scenarios, entities, accounts, and intercompany structures.
• Troubleshoot consolidation issues, data discrepancies, and financial reporting variances across source systems.
• Manage system operations related to the close process, including running consolidations, translations, calculations, and validations.
• Collaborate with source system owners to ensure accurate data transfer from ERP systems.
• Maintain mapping tables, location setup, import formats, scripts, and load automation schedules.
• Develop and maintain financial reports using Oracle Narrative Reporting or Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smart View.
• Support business users with ad hoc report creation, troubleshooting, and training.
• Ensure reporting aligns with corporate accounting policies, financial structures, and audit requirements.
• Document issues, enhancements, and process changes following ITIL standards.
• Assist with application lifecycle activities including patches, upgrades, environment refreshes, and service restarts.
• Support internal and external audit activities through documentation, controls, and system evidence.
• Recommend technology and process improvements that enhance financial operations efficiency.
• Work with cross functional teams to automate manual financial workflows using the appropriate tools.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Oracle FCCS or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (11.2.x+) with more than two implementations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle Narrative Reporting or Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smart View (report development, troubleshooting, ad hoc).
• 3–5 years of experience with FDMEE/FDM data integrations with more than two FDMEE implementations.
• 5 years of strong Knowledge of Oracle ODI and/or other ETL tools.
• 5 years of strong understanding of financial accounting, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and period-close processes.
