Senior Quality Engineer (Campinas)

LawnStarter is a leading on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services, expanding into all home services with a focus on quality and innovation. The company is seeking a Quality Engineer to improve automation, processes, and product quality.

Location: Campinas, Brazil

Salary: $45,000–$65,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Design and grow automated test suite using Cypress, including E2E and integration tests.
• Own the bug triage and fix process, ensuring smooth workflow from triage to production.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to review requirements, identify risks, and define quality standards.
• Identify gaps in quality processes and implement improvements.
• Perform exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms to catch issues automation may miss.

Requirements

• AI-native: Experience using AI tools like Claude Code for testing and automation.
• Automation-first mindset: Focus on building robust test infrastructure and automation solutions.
• Customer-obsessed: Think from the user's perspective to ensure real-world functionality.
• Adaptable: Comfortable with evolving tools, processes, and rapid changes in the tech environment.
• Collaborative and direct communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical skills: Ability to read/write code, understand web services, SQL, and debug across the stack.
