Senior Software Engineer

Atom Computing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain the quantum computing platform, working across the full stack to deliver systems and applications for quantum hardware and simulators. The role involves collaboration with scientists and engineers at the intersection of physics and software.

Location: Boulder, CO; Austin, TX; or fully remote under exceptional circumstances.

Salary: $140,000–$185,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain public API features and open-source SDKs for quantum jobs.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure for system tuning and calibration.
• Develop and maintain software for scheduling and analyzing quantum algorithms.
• Collaborate with Quantum Engineers to write tested, extensible code for experiments and algorithms.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer.

Additional Information
