CTEC is a leading technology firm providing modernization, digital transformation, and application development services to the U.S. Federal Government. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support their work with federal agencies, focusing on cloud development, system integration, and AI components.
Location: McLean, VA
Responsibilities
- Design and implement APIs and middleware for AI agent integration.
- Guide teams on integrating AI into enterprise applications.
- Develop orchestration logic for hybrid workflows.
- Build validation services to enforce business rules on AI outputs.
- Develop data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs in a cloud environment.
- Implement DevOps practices with Git, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines with specialized testing for AI components.
- Participate in Agile development processes.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in software development or application engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Experience with cloud application development, preferably in Azure.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Ability to design scalable, high-performance systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
