Senior Software Engineer – Quality Engineering & Testing

The role is for a Senior Software Developer working on mission-critical government projects, focusing on modernizing and sustaining transportation planning systems.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $97,968–$132,250/yr

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
• Assist with all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Assist with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
• Assist with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
• Perform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging
• Assist with the documentation of software or system for future maintenance and updates

Requirements

• BS/BA in software development or related field
• Comp TIA Sec+ - Required 6 months of hire
• 3+ years of related experience, preferably 4+ years experience of Angular
• History of developing applications and troubleshooting issues within the code
• Writing in Angular, Java along with development of scripts
• Compiling code using shell scripts
• Technical expertise in Angular, Linux, System/Software Design, GitLab and Java
• Application Development, Software Development, Problem Solving, understanding network communication
• Active secret clearance OR previously held secret clearance, must have ability to obtain interim clearance
• US citizenship required
