Senior Software Engineer, Web (Full Stack)

BitMEX is a leading crypto derivatives exchange known for security, innovation, and transparency, offering a range of derivatives and spot trading options since 2014.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Development of the BitMEX Web Frontend and React components
• New feature design and implementation, bug fixing, and performance tuning
• Working closely with the API and Engine teams to integrate new features and products
• Help develop and maintain APIs for trading experiences
• Exploring and evaluating new stack components and architecture ideas
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural discussions

Requirements

• Intimate experience with JS and JS performance characteristics
• Experience with NodeJS, React, and Flux architecture
• Experience with Flow/TypeScript
• Experience making complex, data-driven products accessible to consumers
• Ability to develop multiple products and concepts simultaneously
• Familiarity with current UX trends and curiosity for new UX concepts
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
