Responsibilities
- Define and maintain a roadmap for the Identity Management technical component, ensuring continuous improvement in usability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Identify opportunities to modernize architecture, automate workflows, and introduce new modular platform capabilities.
- Use monitoring, analytics, and feedback to refine priorities and guide evidence-based decisions.
- Lead experimentation and technical learning cycles to validate ideas and inform platform direction.
- Align cross-functional teams and stakeholders around the roadmap.
- Translate architecture goals and product strategy into experiments and delivery plans that improve stability, extensibility, and efficiency.
- Lead technical pilots and develop proofs-of-concept for emerging technologies and infrastructure improvements.
- Define hypotheses and success criteria for technical solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure secure, high-quality delivery.
- Provide updates on progress, impact, and how technical delivery advances strategic goals.
- Translate technical progress into business impact and share documentation, release notes, and updates.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management or related experience, with a proven track record leading products within SaaS enterprise platforms.
- Deep understanding of secure, large-scale, and complex systems; experience in assessments or educational technology is a plus.
- Technical fluency with back-end systems, APIs, data integrations, and platform architecture; experience in identity management and authentication protocols is preferred.
- Proven ability to drive measurable business and user outcomes.
- Experience collaborating with engineers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage dependencies and priorities.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, automation, or data workflows (preferred).
- Ability to travel 5–7 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board.
