Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, consecutive interpretation primarily in medical settings.
• Facilitate communication in social services and financial contexts.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year minimum of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.
• Minimum C1 fluency in English, with valid certifications from EF SET, TOEFL, or CAE.
• Proof of recent medical interpreter certification (ALTA with minimum score of 9 or LanguageStat with passing score of 75-80%).
• Complete mastery of medical and customer service terminology.
• Willingness to obtain HIPAA and FWA certifications if not already held.
• Willingness to complete a standard background check.
