Spanish Transcriber

This is a remote transcription project supporting the development of talk-to-text technology, requiring native-level Spanish (Mexico) proficiency. The role involves listening to audio files and transcribing them accurately, following detailed guidelines.

Location: Remote (global)

Salary: USD 2.20 per audio minute transcribed

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe a variety of files in accordance with client-specific Written Domain conventions (WDCs)
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each client’s guidelines, updating your knowledge as changes occur
• Produce high-quality, timely work for all assigned transcription projects
• Reference and apply current training materials and documentation as needed
• Identify and report technical issues or transcription concerns to the Division Services Manager
• Contribute ideas for improving workflows and transcription processes
• Participate in additional tasks or special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Spanish (Mexico) (es_mx), including reading and writing
• Excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation (assessment required)
• Have an Upwork profile or willingness to create one
• High-speed internet access
• Own a computer
• Access to email
