The Senior Director role within Gartner's Business and Technology Insights group involves establishing credibility in market analysis, producing pragmatic insights, and engaging with clients to address complex challenges, particularly in the Human Resources Practice.

Salary: $172,000–$202,500/yr
Responsibilities
- Create innovative research and provide actionable advice for Gartner clients in various formats on topics including organization design, work, team and role design, and job architecture.
- Deliver individualized advice to CHROs and senior HR leaders through video presentations and discussions.
- Track market trends, emerging technologies, and practices in AI-driven Org Design.
- Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership to accelerate client action.
- Analyze and identify root causes of client barriers to drive strategy.
- Demonstrate thought leadership within the analyst team.
- Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders to evolve research agendas.
- Research, analyze, and predict market trends for actionable insights.
- Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
- Create and deliver high-value presentations for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
- Support BTI and Sales teams by providing market insights and content.
- Review peer content for quality.
- Build credibility as an industry expert.
- Participate in innovation, research discussions, and collaborate with peers.
- Identify research process improvements.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Maintain client engagement with Gartner insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Expertise in Organizational Design, including job architecture, workflows, and mobility programs.
- Understanding of challenges faced by CHROs in organization design.
- Expertise in organizational design techniques and evolution in the AI era.
- Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with leaders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to produce high-quality deliverables under deadlines.
- Research and writing excellence.
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and synthesis.
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Experience in presenting at large and small engagements.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Deep knowledge of global and competitive landscape.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Learning agility and navigating matrixed environments.
- Ability to represent Gartner’s research methodology effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
