Sr. Field Reimbursement Expert (Retina Clinic) - Pacific Coast

The role is for a Sr. Field Reimbursement Expert Retina Clinic – West Coast at Alcon, focusing on managing patient access and reimbursement activities for the company's surgical and ocular health portfolio in a specified geography.

Location: Remote with 60% travel, West Coast, USA

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with providers and outpatient facility accounts within the assigned geography
• Partner with field sales to build engagement and positive customer experiences
• Educate providers on coding and billing requirements for Alcon equipment and devices
• Analyze local market data and healthcare dynamics for business planning
• Serve as a subject matter expert in training and deploying Value Tools for Alcon products
• Provide managed care and reimbursement training and educational activities for stakeholders
• Stay current on reimbursement policies and ophthalmic business trends
• Share relevant product, market, and competitive information with home office teams
• Represent Alcon at industry functions, reimbursement meetings, and professional organization meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school +15 years, Associate +11 years, M.S. +4 years, PhD +3 years)
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, understanding, communicating)
• 7 years of relevant experience
