Staff Engineer, Site Reliability

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including EKS clusters, databases, and core services.
• Own the reliability practices supporting 9 million+ users.
• Support and unblock engineers across local, staging, and production environments.
• Establish and socialize monitoring and alerting standards.
• Lead or support incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Contribute to architectural decisions shaping infrastructure evolution.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on Terraform expertise, owning IaC.
• Proven AWS experience at scale, including EKS, RDS, cloud networking, DNS, CDNs, load balancers.
• Experienced operating Kubernetes in production, debugging complex issues.
• Designing and improving CI/CD systems, e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions.
• Strong observability instincts with tools like Datadog, Sentry, PagerDuty, Cronitor.
• Experience with on-call and incident management, including post-mortems.
• Supporting developers across local, staging, and production environments.
• Familiarity with AI tools and integrating AI into workflows.
