Staff Product Engineer (Belo Horizonte)

This is a remote role for candidates located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The role involves leading AI-driven initiatives in a restructuring engineering team, focusing on AI agents, product ownership, and outcome delivery.

Location: Belo Horizonte, Brazil

Salary: USD $80,000–$100,000 annual base

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical approach including architecture, data model, integration, rollout, observability, and rollback strategies.
• Ensure the quality, safety, and velocity of AI agents implementing code for the initiative.
• Partner with product managers and designers daily, and with engineering managers weekly.
• Own the initiative's outcome, including post-launch review and metric analysis.
• Maintain high standards for production correctness, security, performance, observability, and user experience.

Requirements

• Deep skill in at least one of the company's tech stacks plus credible production experience with AI coding agents.
• Already operating at lead level (Senior, Staff, Lead, or Principal) with a history of making technical decisions and shipping complex work.
• Outcome-driven with a focus on metrics and user experience, not just code volume.
• Strong horizontal partnership skills with product managers and designers.
• Decisive, documented decision-making and artifact creation.
• Impactful contributor who leaves reusable artifacts and cares about customer and pros outcomes.
