Staff Product Engineer (São Paulo)

This is a remote role for candidates located in São Paulo, Brazil, focused on AI-driven software engineering within a marketplace for home services.

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Salary: USD $80,000–$100,000 annual base

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the technical approach for initiatives, including architecture, data models, integration, observability, and rollback strategies.
• Ensure implementation quality through prompts, guardrails, evals, tests, and review loops, with most code authored by AI agents.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and engineering peers, and communicate progress and outcomes.
• Own the outcome of initiatives, including post-launch review and impact measurement.

Requirements

• AI-native experience with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent.
• Operating at a lead level with a history of making technical decisions and shipping complex features.
• Outcome-driven with a focus on metrics and impact.
• Strong collaboration skills with product managers, designers, and engineering peers.
• Decisive, well-documented decision-making and architectural skills.
• Ability to leave reusable artifacts that enhance team productivity.
• Customer- and pro-minded with a marketplace focus.
