The Strategic Account Executive II at Crisis Prevention Institute drives growth by leading strategic sales initiatives in the education and healthcare markets, focusing on expanding training programs and products through executive-level partnerships and consultative selling.

Location: Remote or Milwaukee Headquarters

Salary: $85,000 base, $137,500 on target earnings (base + uncapped commissions)

Responsibilities

  • Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to contract execution to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Serve as the principal representative of CPI for potential customers.
  • Identify, engage, and convert new opportunities in education or healthcare markets through targeted account-based approaches.
  • Deliver compelling, solution-oriented presentations that address customer needs and showcase CPI’s value.
  • Forge and nurture executive-level relationships, aligning CPI’s solutions with customer challenges.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects using CRM and sales tools.
  • Partner with marketing, product management, and customer care teams for seamless customer experiences.
  • Provide insights on industry trends, competitive activity, and client feedback.
  • Report on sales performance, customer engagements, and pipeline progress.
  • Represent CPI at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Three or more years of successful sales experience.
  • Proven success in a ‘hunter’ sales role with new business wins.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Meet vendor credentialing requirements including background checks and immunizations.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and influencing decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen and independent judgment.
  • Advanced consultative selling skills.
  • Attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • High resilience and positive attitude towards rejection.
