Supplier Quality Engineer (Electronics Team)

The role involves overseeing and improving the quality of electronic suppliers for Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense solutions, focusing on supplier audits, quality control, root cause analysis, and process improvements.

Location: Remote (Poland)

Salary: 9,333.0 PLN – 18,667.0 PLN

Responsibilities

• Overseeing suppliers' performance through on-site visits, certification programs, and supplier portals.
• Making improvements and reducing risks at high-risk suppliers via corrective actions, audits, data analysis, and training.
• Analyzing quality data and developing resolution and corrective actions for supplier issues.
• Conducting root cause analysis and problem solving in escape management procedures.
• Developing corrective and preventive actions for systemic process and product design problems.
• Conducting supplier qualification, certification, source inspection, and material release processes.
• Reviewing processes and metrics to ensure supplier capability for work transfer and process change management.

Requirements

• Strong background in electronics commodity (electronics boards and components).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional teamwork.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial engineering or similar, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience in supply chain operations, monitoring, auditing, or supplier development.
• Knowledge of Quality Regulations, Core Tools (PFMEA, MSA, SPC, etc.), APQP, QMS, auditing, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing area.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, APQP, PPAP.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
