Team Lead Java Engineer, Remarketing (F/M/X)

As a team lead at AUTO1 Group, you will own a subset of applications and services within a service-oriented platform with over 300 RESTful microservices. You will lead a team, solve complex problems, and contribute to building innovative solutions for buying and selling cars.

Responsibilities

• Own a subset of applications and services within a microservices platform.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering growth and development.
• Solve complex technical problems using your experience and hands-on skills.
• Provide technical advice and solutions based on solid experience.
• Hire, lead by example, and mentor team members to push boundaries and excel.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in leading a group of developers and taking responsibility for a team and software.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java programming.
• Good understanding of the JVM, modern Java, and applying language features in complex scenarios.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, with a balanced approach to business needs.
• At least 2 years of experience with Spring-based technologies, including Spring Boot and ideally Spring Cloud.
• Leverage software design principles and patterns in product development.
