Salary: $10,400 – $52,000

Responsibilities

Creating community by leading activities and events to foster trust among Fellows.
Providing technical mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, and project scope finalization.
Running regular pod meetings to discuss projects, priorities, and learnings.
Managing projects and reporting progress to program staff.
Building relationships with Fellows, the Fellowship Team, and project maintainers.

Requirements

Community Mindset: Building friendships, relationships, and community.
Organization: Ability to manage 3-4 partner projects and 5-15 Fellows.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with partners and Fellows.
Coding Ability: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
Open Source: Experience contributing to major Open Source projects or production code.
Hours: Able to commit 10-20 hours per week during the 12-week fellowship.
Passion/Interests: Passionate about technical education and communities.
Age: 18 or over.
