Responsibilities

Translate, adapt, and refine high-quality learning content for French Immersion & Core French students.
Work flexibly to deliver accurate, polished solutions within timelines.
Use an agile workflow for content development.
Respond to content needs including licensing and repackaging.
Prioritize and plan content revisions based on feedback and data.
Create and manage content schedules and guidelines.
Research, write, edit, and storyboard content in various formats.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging learning experiences.
Develop content outlines, plans, and schedules for projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, French, Linguistics, Translation, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Exceptional understanding of K12 pedagogy, curriculum, and instructional design, with experience supporting French Immersion and Core French.
High proficiency in French and English, with ability to translate and adapt educational content.
Experience with educational translation and localization.
Knowledge of second-language acquisition principles.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educators and experts.
Proven experience developing French Immersion learning resources.
Strong written communication, attention to detail, and editorial judgment.
Proficient problem-solving skills.
Experience developing inclusive, accessible, and culturally responsive materials.
Experience working within provincial/territorial curriculum frameworks (asset).
Experience in authoring, editing, and content creation for web, app, videos, interactives, and games.
Flexible with technology, embracing new software, AI, and tools.
HTML skills are a bonus.
