The VAD Clinical Specialist at Abbott works remotely within the Heart Failure division, promoting remote patient monitoring services and digital health solutions to hospitals, providing clinical support, training, and consulting to healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
- Participates in development opportunities and on-going training.
- Facilitates implementation of digital solutions to hospitals/clinics.
- Provides clinical peer to peer consulting services through workflow analysis/value mapping to new and existing accounts.
- Provides onsite support for VADWatch go-lives and ongoing training.
- Provides ongoing clinical support and education to sales team members.
- Participates with sales team in key meetings with customer decision makers.
- Supports and engages in the development of corporate partners’ products and services.
- Participates and becomes proficient in high level sales training and strategy.
- Contributes on new product/service development.
- Assists in gathering evidence for clinical studies.
- Keeps abreast of new developments related to core business.
- Travel up to 50-75%.
- Provides coverage of key accounts during vacancies.
- Communicates with team members.
- Documents calls, meetings, and account information.
- Participates in ongoing education.
- Performs other activities as requested.
Requirements
- RN with Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years nursing experience.
