Vice President, Clinical and Medical Affairs

Naveris is a precision oncology diagnostics company dedicated to improving outcomes for patients at risk of viral-induced cancers through molecular diagnostics like the NavDx® test. They operate high-complexity CLIA-certified laboratories and focus on early cancer detection.

Location: United States

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing clinical operations team responsible for planning and executing clinical studies and collaborations.
  • Leading evidence generation team for developing, publishing, and promoting scientific and clinical evidence supporting NavDx.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to engage healthcare providers and payors with evidence-based education on NavDx testing.
  • Creating multi-year evidence generation roadmaps and leading the execution of studies including prospective, retrospective, registry, and real-world evidence studies.
  • Developing clinical strategies to integrate Naveris’ technologies into standard-of-care practice and guidelines.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver clinical project plans and communicate risks and milestones.
  • Providing peer-to-peer education about Naveris’ technologies and participating in physician consultations and industry events.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement with thought leaders and setting clinical practice guidelines.
  • Representing Naveris at scientific, medical, regulatory, and industry events to establish leadership in early cancer detection.
  • Ensuring quality and performance of testing services in coordination with CLIA Lab leadership.
  • Providing executive leadership for the Clinical and Medical Affairs department, including personnel, budget, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. licensed to practice medicine in the U.S.
  • Board Certification in Pathology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Otolaryngology, Gynecologic Oncology, or Colorectal Surgery (preferred).
  • At least 10 years of experience in oncology-focused patient care, including training and fellowship.
  • Proven record of scientific and clinical publications.
  • Experience managing retrospective and real-world data studies.
  • Thorough knowledge of clinical research, GCP, and ICH Guidelines.
  • Industry experience in molecular diagnostics, liquid biopsy, or oncology preferred.
  • Experience with Medicare, commercial insurance, and payor stakeholders.
  • Experience working with high-complexity CLIA laboratories for genomic testing technologies.
