AI Operations Engineer

Sauce is a restaurant technology platform that helps local restaurants grow through commission-free delivery and pickup, with proprietary delivery optimization technology. They are looking for a skilled engineer to develop AI-powered tools for their operations team, working directly with business stakeholders in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote (LATAM, overlapping US hours)

Responsibilities

• Build internal tools and automation workflows for the operations team using Cursor and n8n
• Fix bugs and ship features in fast iterations - 3-4 production releases per day
• Design and deploy AI agents that automate repetitive operational tasks end-to-end
• Integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems without handholding
• Own QA - test your releases against real business logic before pushing
• Talk directly with ops users and translate vague feedback into precise solutions

Requirements

• Cursor.ai / Other AI IDE - expert-level usage
• N8N / Other Agentic Workflow tools - complex multi-step workflows
• OpenAI / LLM APIs — agents, tool use, structured outputs, prompt engineering
• Full-stack: Node.js + React or equivalent
• PostgreSQL or similar relational database
• REST API design and third-party integrations
• Cloud deployment (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Strong architecture instincts
• Strong security awareness
