Technical Design Authority

The Technical Design Authority (Security) at GTT is responsible for designing, documenting, and managing security solutions, supporting strategic objectives, and ensuring the security architecture of customer designs. The role involves involvement in presales, implementation, testing, and ongoing support, with occasional on-site work.

Location: Europe (remote)

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke customer network security models, review and approve security configurations, and participate in deployments and proof of concepts.
• Support the pre-sales process by advising on security posture.
• Monitor industry security updates, technologies, and best practices.
• Liaise with partners and vendors to meet customer expectations.
• Produce and endorse technical standards, reference architectures, deployment guides, and roadmaps.
• Support customer accounts as a subject matter expert in security, including occasional work at customer premises.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the network security industry.
• Knowledge of Fortinet, Palo Alto security design, implementation, and support.
• Experience working autonomously in a multi-vendor enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of SASE and SSE environments.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Aruba Edgeconnect, VMWare Velocloud, Forti Secure SD-WAN).
• Security architecture and design experience for managed security service clients.
• Technical leadership in project planning, management, and deployment.
• Ability to translate business requirements into architectural solutions.
• Experience working on international and global accounts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
