The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining store standards in a retail environment.
Location: Dublin, CA
Responsibilities
- Leads all company best practices and maximizes productivity.
- Assists in analyzing store reports and evaluating performance.
- Ensures proper scheduling and compliance with regulations.
- Manages payroll and associate cleaning tasks.
- Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing associates.
- Monitors expenses and controls payroll hours.
- Ensures a safe environment and conducts safety meetings.
- Provides excellent customer service and supervises staff in service areas.
- Maintains store appearance and brand standards.
- Oversees merchandise processing, presentation, and markdowns.
- Assists with loss prevention and inventory processes.
Requirements
- Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in retail.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Ability to set priorities and exercise judgment.
- High-quality customer service skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Basic mathematical skills.
