Bilingual Mental Health Therapist

Backpack Healthcare is seeking bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed mental health therapists to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy to children, teens, and young adults remotely in Maryland. The role focuses on expanding access to mental health care for diverse communities.

Location: Remote – Must Hold Active Maryland License

Salary: $45–$65 per billable hour (based on license)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via secure telehealth
• Conduct comprehensive intakes and assessments
• Develop culturally responsive, client-centered treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EHR
• Support families with education, tools, and ongoing care coordination

Requirements

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Experience serving children, teens, and families
• Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Part-time up to 22 sessions / Full-time up to 36 sessions
• Schedule: 22–36 hours of availability per week
• Preferred Hours: Weekdays 2 PM–9 PM | Weekend availability a plus
