The Car Dealer Specialist role is focused on managing relationships and executing sales strategies within the car dealership channel to drive profitable growth, including category planning, product launches, and collaboration with manufacturer teams.
Location: North Carolina
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for car dealer customers, managing day-to-day relationships and ensuring strong partnership alignment.
- Develop and execute category and customer business plans, including assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and new product launches.
- Drive profitable growth by identifying strategic opportunities related to pricing, promotion, supply, and key product lines.
- Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Category, Analytics) to meet customer service and performance goals.
- Partner with vehicle manufacturer field teams and local distributors to align initiatives and support sell‑in and sell‑out execution.
- Provide performance reporting, insights, and feedback to management while supporting training and development of dealership associates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, with a master’s degree preferred.
- Professional experience in customer development, customer support, or sales within a business or commercial environment.
- Exposure to working across multiple channels and functional areas within an organization.
