This is a dedicated corporate travel consultant role supporting a large, globally recognized technology and software solutions company. The role involves arranging domestic and international travel for business travelers, building client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.
Location: Remote, USA
Salary: $31.25/hr plus commission/incentive earnings, with on target earnings averaging $65,000 - $81,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated travel expert, acting as a seamless extension of the client's team
- Build rapport and develop a relationship with business travelers to ensure their business travel needs are in the hands of a trusted team of Corporate Travel professionals
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of reservations while meeting travelers' needs
- Executing all responsibilities within company guidelines for customer service, documentation of PNRS (Passenger Name Records) and profiles, ticketing, invoicing, and maintaining accuracy throughout
- Staying fully informed about airline rules, regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements and applying this knowledge accurately to all travel arrangements
- Deliver consultative support and exceptional customer service throughout the booking process
- Keeping clients informed about all necessary travel documents and health requirements for their destinations
- Proficiently handling ticketing, Phase IVs, and exchanges/changes involving complex international fares
- Expertly managing rerouting and exchange processes, ensuring minimal disruption to travel plans
Requirements
- 2+ years of recent, prior experience in corporate travel management
- In-depth familiarity with current Sabre GDS (Global Distribution System)
- Previous exposure to quality control processes for travel bookings
- Proficiency in ticketing procedures and scripting, handling complex itinerary changes and exchanges
- Ability to navigate complex itineraries, international fares, and PNRs
- Polished and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in handling multiple urgent tasks simultaneously
- Decision-making skills for resolving travel issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep commitment to customer service
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and communication tools
- Strong technical aptitude
- Self-motivated and independent worker

Additional Information
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET/8:00 AM – 6:00 PM CT, Monday – Friday, 40-hour work week.
