The Customer Success team at SimScale is dedicated to making high-fidelity engineering simulation accessible globally. The role of a Strategic Customer Success Manager involves acting as a strategic partner and driving post-sales success for customers, influencing revenue retention and market leadership.
Location: EMEA (CET) or US (EST/CST)
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to VP, Directors, Executives and Engineering Champions, aligning capabilities with strategic goals.
- Own the end-to-end commercial health of customer cohort, including ARR retention, expansion pathways, and revenue forecasting.
- Lead Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) and QBRs focusing on ROI, value realization, and business impact.
- Identify at-risk accounts and execute recovery strategies.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to influence roadmap and turn successful customers into advocates.
- Leverage automation and best practices to manage portfolio efficiently, ensuring high-touch experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or similar).
- Deep understanding of CFD, FEA, or Thermal Analysis preferred.
- 5+ years in a high-growth SaaS environment in a technical customer-facing role (CSM, Account Management, or Technical Account Management).
- Proven track record of managing renewals and expansions, with quota responsibility.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Comfortable with CRM data (Salesforce/HubSpot) and strategic use.
- Team-first mentality and experience working with Sales and Technical Account Teams.
