Data Science Program Lead I

The Data Science Lead at AbbVie is responsible for leading clinical trial data management and ensuring successful project delivery within the company's innovative clinical research team.

Salary: $84.5k–$162k

Responsibilities

• Aligns DSS study teams with program- and study-level strategies.
• Acts as single point of contact and operational lead for assigned studies.
• Interacts with and influences cross-functional team members.
• Utilizes operational analytics and project management tools.
• Ensures adherence to regulations and standards.
• Participates in vendor oversight and provides feedback.
• Coaches and mentors Data Science Associates.
• Participates in innovation and process improvement initiatives.
• Contributes to lessons learned in study execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems, computer science, life sciences or equivalent.
• Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of pharma/clinical research/data management/health care experience or 5+ years of project management experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial process and technology.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Effective communication skills.
• Effective analytical skills.
