The Deal Desk Advisor supports sales, professional services, pricing, and legal teams at Merative by developing complex price quotes and contracts, primarily for labor-based professional services engagements with governmental clients.

Responsibilities

  • Work to increase company revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Work closely with Merative stakeholders to progress opportunities through sales cycles.
  • Advance price quotes and contracts through approval processes.
  • Ensure alignment with business strategy, margin objectives, and client requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Participate in win/loss analysis to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Support RFP responses and short-turnaround opportunities.
  • Participate in solutioning to define labor estimates and schedules.
  • Use financial tools for profitability and revenue analysis.
  • Build complex professional services quotes and support product quotes.
  • Create, redline, and route services and product contracts.
  • Manage documentation, storage, and publication of opportunity artifacts.
  • Provide updates to leadership and participate in opportunity reviews.
  • Assist with transition of solutions to delivery team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Experience developing professional services price quotes.
  • Experience creating, redlining, and routing sales contracts.
  • Proven support for sales wins.
  • Strong background with labor planning and price modeling.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition rules.
  • Attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize requirements into solutions.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize in a complex environment.
  • Client-focused with strong customer service.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle complex analysis.
  • Self-motivated and action-oriented.
