Particle41 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance software development and IT operations, focusing on automation, infrastructure management, and system reliability. The role involves collaboration with development and operations teams to build, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure systems.
Location: India - Remote
Responsibilities
- Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate on the design, implementation, and maintenance of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
- Design, implement, and manage automation processes for software build, deployment, and configuration.
- Evaluate, select, and implement tools and technologies to enhance development and deployment processes.
- Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, and others) for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, etc.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Develop and implement monitoring solutions for system health and performance.
- Proactively address issues related to system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including vulnerability assessments, code scanning, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security policies.
- Provide support for development and operations teams, addressing build failures, deployment issues, and system outages.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident response.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Certified in at least one of the following: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, AWS SysOps, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Network Engineer, Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, GCP Cloud Engineer, GCP Cloud Architect, GCP Cloud Developer, GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer, GCP Cloud Security Engineer, GCP Cloud Network Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist.
