Location: Remote, Latin America
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of projects related to Kubernetes, Observability tooling, Security & Access Controls, and build pipelines
- Development of Infrastructure-as-Code modules and documentation thereof
- Collaborate with internal and external Qventus team members to understand project requirements
- Document use-cases, how-tos, and projects to grow Qventus’ internal knowledge base
- Keep on top of industry trends and bring new technologies to the team’s attention
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team on complex projects and communicate challenges and solutions
- A desire to learn and ask questions
- Comfort with Python, Golang, or Bash
- Experience working with a cloud provider, like AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, etc.
- Familiarity with a configuration management system like Helm or Terraform
- Linux system fundamentals, i.e. package management, basic TCP/IP networking, systemctl, journalctl, etc. An understanding of securing Linux systems in the context of containers and selinux is a bonus.
- An understanding of containerization use cases and deployment strategies like Kubernetes, AWS ECS, etc. in GitOps environments
- Some experience with relational Database engines like Postgres, MySQL, or Aurora RDS
- Awareness of observability tooling like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or the ELK stack.
