DevOps Lead

DevOps Lead responsible for driving infrastructure strategy, automation, and reliability at Axelar, supporting blockchain interoperability.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, guiding best practices in infrastructure automation, security, and reliability.
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines for blockchain ecosystems.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Optimize infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost-efficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
• Drive automation initiatives to minimize manual operations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of services, addressing infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Stay updated on emerging Web3 DevOps technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud services.
• Experience leading a DevOps team and mentoring engineers.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Strong scripting, automation, and IaC skills (Bash, Python, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Understanding of blockchain networks, DeFi protocols, or decentralized infrastructure is a plus.
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
