WEX is seeking a financial leader to oversee the FP&A function across its North American Fleet, Small Business Fleet, and Global Marketing organization. The role involves strategic partnership with senior executives, team leadership, and scaling global finance practices.

Responsibilities
- Define and lead Budget, forecast, and strategic planning processes and full Group deliverables.
- Own line of business (LOB) timelines, deliverables and quality standards of P&L financial results and performance insights.
- Integrate with LOB senior/executive leadership to deliver and drive results.
- Lead and develop a team through coaching, succession planning, and empowerment.
- Drive cultural change for improved marketing investment returns.
- Develop insights and metrics to drive financial performance and ensure business case success.
- Develop marketing investment return metrics and frameworks for monitoring investments.
- Assess external and macroeconomic factors impacting business performance.
- Make strategic recommendations and implement changes based on insights.
- Identify and lead process improvements and automation.
- Own the month-end close process for LOB/functional area.
- Oversee deal management, deal flow, and pricing analytics.
- Manage the Os&Rs process to support GMs in delivering financial targets.
- Ensure team awareness of deliverables, processes, and timelines.
- Lead strategic financial planning and stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to the FP&A division's strategic goals and vision.
- Partner with HR on workforce planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA, CPA preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance, with 5+ years in leadership.
- Experience in global, matrixed organizations, preferably in technology, payments, or SaaS sectors.
- Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, business acumen, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to executives.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in financial systems like Hyperion, Anaplan, Oracle, Alteryx; dashboard tools like Tableau, Power BI preferred.
- Ability to lead through change, influence teams, and drive process improvements.
- Strong judgment, decision-making, and risk assessment skills.
- Experience with enterprise-wide initiatives like system implementations or process redesigns.
