Engineering Director - Cloud Transformation

This role is for a senior cloud solutions architect at Unisys, focusing on designing, developing, and delivering cloud-based solutions and strategies for clients, with a strong emphasis on client relationship management, technical expertise, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Win business by developing compelling business solutions and creating technical relationships with clients.
• Generate new revenue and improve margins across accounts.
• Understand client business goals and align them with solutions.
• Identify unrecognized business value opportunities.
• Build 'client for life' relationships and become a trusted advisor.
• Demonstrate expertise in market segments and technical areas, stay current with industry trends, and communicate effectively.
• Forecast, plan, and review financial and resource requirements.
• Develop and present cloud security strategies and ensure compliance.
• Assess client environments for cloud migration and develop strategies.
• Collaborate with client and internal teams, provide technical guidance, and communicate complex concepts.
• Define cloud strategy, design cloud solutions, and evaluate cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and certifications.
• 12+ years’ experience as an architect designing and delivering technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Google, AWS, Azure, and other cloud vendors.
• Experience in cloud transformations, design patterns, and architecture best practices.
• Extensive experience with on-prem, hybrid, and multicloud solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud IaaS and PaaS.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture design, networking, security, and infrastructure.
• Experience in cost estimation and migration strategies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with CXOs.
